The Australian ETA Visa is an Electronic Travel Authority that provides authorization to travel to Australia. The ETA is electronically linked to your passport and is valid for short-term stays; tourism or business activities for less than 90 days.
All non-citizens require a Visa or Electronic Travel Authority to enter Australia.
To apply for an ETA you must have your passport, be outside Australia, intend to visit for tourism or business purposes and your visit must not exceed 90 days.
